Lexan Thermoclear is an impact resistant, energy saving, multi-wall Polycarbonate glazing sheet. It features a proprietary surfaces treatment which provides almost total resistance against degradation caused by UV radiation in sunlight.

LEXAN Thermoclear Easy Clean

The first self-cleaning polycarbonate multi-wall sheet.

• GE Plastics has developed a special hydrophobic coating which increases the surface tension of water.

• This coating applied to the outside surface of the Lexan Thermoclear sheets causes the water to form large droplets and wash away dirt to leave the Lexan Thermoclear Easy Clean nearly spotless.

• Lexan Thermoclear Easy Clean is a sheet which cleans itself by the action of water alone.

• Each time it rains, the self-cleaning process occurs.

LEXAN Thermoclear Solar Control

• Features in addition to the extraordinary properties of Standard Lexan Thermoclear, a unique and specially developed Solar Control Coating at the non-UV protected side of the sheet which reduces the heat build-up beneath the sheet.

• Despite the reduction of the heat build-up a high light transmission will remain. The excellent properties result in an agreeable comfort level inside the building.

LEXAN Thermoclear Venetian

• Are members of the Lexan Thermoclear sheet range of high quality, multi-wall polycarbonate glazing sheets extruded from Lexan resin.

• LTC Venetian is LTC which has been screen printed with white stripes on the non-UV coated side. The white striped side would always be installed facing inwards, the other side, clearly identified as protected against UV, being installed facing outwards.

• Although the screen printed white stripes are mailnly intended for additional decorative purposes, the belonging shadow effect results in an improved comfort level inside the building.

• Nice aesthetic – Reduces heat build-up (up to 61% of the total solar transmission can be reduced).

LEXAN Thermoclear Hammered Glass Look

• A two-sided UV protected polycarbonate multi-wall sheet which combines new aesthetics, improved light diffusion, impact strength and good fire resistance.
